Blood in urine
Can being on plavix and asprin daily for 3 years cause blood in the urine---all testing shows nothing wrong anywhere.

I've seen urologist..no cancer blood in urine due to plavix and aspirin tests done was all clear
Yes that's the answer both medications together causes blood in urine ....just been confirmed to myself after all tests were negative

I am taking clopidrogel and aspirin and have had all blood in urine....its a worry incase ive got bladder or kidney cancer
I don't have cancer in bladder or kidneys it's plavix and aspirin that's caused blood in urine
All tests were clear...
Any lady waiting to have a camera into bladder don't worry trust me it doesn't hurt at all ...only took 3 mind...I worried for nothing....

Patients taking Clopidrogel have been reported of having cystitis ,glomerulopathy and elevated creatinine levels .One rare side effect of taking this drug is Henoch-Schonlein purpura which can cause vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal distension, hematuria, renal colic etc.Aspirin is a blood thinning drug which can cause haematuria.If the haematuria is significant seek the opinion of a urologist.
