Change of shape/pain in penus and on-set of ED

I'm a 55yo man in very good health and, until 15mths ago, possessed a straight and very firm penus when erect. Since that time, I have noticed a) 2 physical changes to my penus and b) it's now impossible to get as firm an erection as before (although it's still passable).
The 2 physical changes are 1) a feeling of tightening - as if there was a rubber band present - just below the head of the penus as an erection starts and 2) a bend at the base of the shaft, that has never been present before.
These changes have knocked my self-esteem somewhat and I would be extremely grateful for any indication of what my problem might be and of any possible solutions to restore myself to my previous functionality.
Many thanks.

Hi Dr Singh,
Many thanks indeed for responding to my plea for help.
Can I ask a quick follow-up question, please: do you think the slight pain I get from the tightening feeling just below the penus head is also consistent with fibrous plaques? I can understand this an explanation for the bending at the base of shaft - although I was totally unaware of any prior small bump - but the tightening feeling to me (a complete layman) seems a little different.
Many thanks again for your help and advice - I will try to arrange an appointment with a urologist as you recommend.
Best regards
Jon

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From your symptoms, phimosis due to adhesions and Pyeronie’s disease need to be ruled out. It is a connective tissue disorder involving the growth of fibrous plaques in the soft tissue of the penis. These plaques cause the penis to be bent. The disease starts as a small bump or constriction on the shaft of the penis below the skin and then consequently curving of the erect penis occurs.

Treatment is by medicines and surgical intervention. I sincerely suggest you to consult a urologist and get this possibility evaluated. Hope it helps. Take care and regards.
