Emergency Urination

Within the past two to three months, it seems like every time I need to pee it becomes an emergency. I am not peeing more times a day, about 5-6, but it just seems like my body doesn't want to tell me it is time to go until it absolutely can't hold it anymore. The only thing that was changed is that I am eating less junk and fast food and I have recently become sexually active. I am pretty sure it isn't an STD because we are both each other's first and neither of us has shown any signs or symptoms over the past four months we have been active. For someone in their 20's, it makes me feel pretty old.

Hello,
It looks like urge incontinence. Symptoms can range from mild leaking to uncontrollable wetting. It can happen to anyone, but it becomes more common with age. Most bladder control problems happen when muscles are too weak or too active.

There are other causes of incontinence, such as prostate problems and nerve damage. Treatment depends on the type of problem you have and what best fits your lifestyle. It may include simple exercises, medicines, special devices or procedures prescribed by your doctor, or surgery.
I suggest you to consult a urologist and get it evaluated. Urodynamic evaluation which involves filling your bladder with water and measuring your capacity and the flow of urine may be required.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

You may have a garden variety UTI.  This can cause different symptoms.  You might have urgency or frequency or dysuria (burning with urination) or other symptoms, but not all the symptoms.

If you don't have an infection, maybe you just need to do Kegel exercises to firm up your muscles.
