Hydronephrosis
Hello!My husband was diagnosed with hydronephrosis stage 2 on the right kidney after a follow-up ultrasoud during a bad renal colic.I add that the pain was also on his right side of the abdomen.Considering that his hydronephrosis has as a cause kidney stones,is a surgical intervention necessary?How long does it take for the kidney to get better assuming that during his renal colic the stone may have moved and this way the blockage resolved itself?he is currently on treatment-ampicilin and ketonal.How long after his crysis and simultan hydronephrosis diagnosis woul you recomend a new ultrasound?After 2 days after the renal colic he feels only mild pain in his back from time to time and he doesn;t have problems peeing.Thank you very much!
They didn't see it on the ultrasound.The stone that is.I was hoping that it somehow moved during that renal colic,Did you have a renal colic?or how did you discover your hydronephrosis?I hope it will go away on its on .Did they remove yours?
hi i just had the same due to a large stone i now have a bag in my right kidney with a tube from the kidney for drainage. good luck cara
