Coughed while peeing - PAIN

I am a female, and I coughed hard while peeing this morning... mid stream. I felt extreme pain in my "nether regions" immediately.

All throughout the day whenever I urinated it caused a high level of pain. Also, there is a small amount of diluted blood in my urine.

Other than being terrified to pee, I am worried that I may have torn something because of the contraction of muscles while peeing.

Can this happen?? I know it is from the cough for certain. If it is a tear in my bladder, or something, will it heal on it's own, or do I have to see a doctor? How long do you think the pain will last? I am dying here.

This just happened to me but I sneezed. What did you wind up doing and how’s it go away?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to renal or ureteric stone which is causing these symptoms. These stones may travel upto he urinary bladder during micturition and forceful coughing and can cause mucosal injury. I suggest you to consult a urologist and get a urine examination and ultrasound urinary tract done. Sometimes cystoscopy may also need to be done.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
