Lump inside penis shaft

Hi All.

I recently noticed that I have a lump "inside" of the penis shaft.  The lump is not visible from the outside and you can't really feel it if you run your fingers over the penis.  However, if you squeeze the penis with two fingers placed on opposite sides of the penis, sort of on the left/top side when looking down, about halfway along the shaft, you can feel the small pea sized lump.  I would say that it is about 1/2 the size of a pea.  It is in the shaft and does not move with the skin of the penis.

No pain, but if I keep messing with it over and over to examine it, my urethra gets irritated.

When erect, you cannot feel the lum at all since the shaft is hard.

Any ideas?  Thank you very much!!!

If you are over 50, most likely you have PEYRONIE'S DISEASE. I was 56 when I saw a specialist about the same problem and they told me straight away I had it, even without any scans. Of course you should do the same, but don't be scared to death for now. It is a bit uncomfortable, but you learn to live with it. I hope this helps.

THIS IS FOR EVERYONE WITH A LUMP IN THE PENIS WHO FOUND THIS PAGE VIA GOOGLE. NO YOU DO NOT HAVE PEYRONIE'S DISEASE. THIS IS JUST A HEMATOMA AND IT'S NORMAL YOU DON'T REMEMBER WHEN YOU HURT YOURSELF. IT WILL RESORB WITH TIME AND IF YOU WANT TO MAKE IT FASTER JUST TAKE SOME ANTIOXIDANT SUPPLEMENTS (VITAMIN E, C, SELENIUM).

I was so worried before going to see a urologist. Peyronie's disease is rare and appears only after 50. Penis hematoma (wounds) however can happen and its calcification leads to a lump, or the feeling of having something strong piercing through your penis.  With time, the calcification resorbs and your erections won't hurt anymore and you won't have the lump in the penis. Thank you and stop googling your symptoms.

So I am over 50 and last week I found a small hard long lump midway slightly left side of the shaft, it feels like the size of the broken lead out of a pencil, excuse the pun here :-) . It does not move so it is not within skin layer but lower, but my doc seemed to think it is a hair or something, I do not think so but the plaque reason seems more likely? It does not curve, hurt or anything but you feel it? So the answer can be diet?
How did you find this out and can you point to more information about it? This sounds exactly what I have.
This is not the article I originally found but similar >

It may not be this, but except for the curvature it does sound like my case as the last 3 months my diet has not been good..
Peyronie's Disease in Young Men. Peyronie's disease is most common in middle-aged men, but may occur in men as young as 20. Research shows 8 to 10 percent of men with Peyronie's disease are under the age of 40. Most young men with Peyronie's present with symptoms such as painful erection.Feb 18, 2016 The guy who posted that Peyronies only happens to men after fifty is wrong. Dont listen to these folks, go to Urologist. Why take a chance just because someone spoke here with the sound of no-it-all and with authority who happens to be wrong. Peyronies is called a disease but actually it is a condition caused to damage to the penis which causes scar tissue to form and the erection gets pulled toward this scar tissue and doesn't stretch like the healthy penis tissue. This damage can happen to anyone with an erect penis who injures it. It is damage not old age that causes this.
Hi! I have one lump for about 6 months. What should i do?

23 here. I have noticed a similar bb size ball except it is more in the head. Noticed slight irritation when urinating. Also my urine has had a somewhat foul smell. A little itchy at the very tip at times but that has gone away. No noticeable discharge. Ejaculation has been fine. I'd say I first noticed the bb roughly a week ago. I will be going to get tested for any stds just in case but I wanted to see if anyone might have any ideas as to what it could be?

I have the same thing for months, and now there are 2, damn it!  Without going to a doctor, since Obomacare killed me financially, what is the prognosis, anyone?

If it's cancer I'm done and not going to a doctor anyway.  If it's an aneurysm, I wait, it blows up and I'm dead, yet again.  If it's a cyst, I live with it in the hope it grows elongated in the wishful direction, lol. If its a tumor I will cut all sugar out of my diet and pray!

If it's something else I would really like to know.  Does anyone ever respond to this blog?  This seems fruitless!

Same here, except it appears that from where the lump is, it no longer gets erect as much from that point out.  Additionally, when flacid, it is much smaller and almost looks as if I am not circumcised since it retracts quite a bit now.  I am guessing that I am not getting the blood flow that I used to, and it possibly could be cholesteral buildup.  I had a heart attack 9 years ago for that same reason, buildup in an arterie to the heart.  I am 60 years old.  Any ideas?

I have the similar situation almost exact, except, that when erect my penis curves where the inside lump is when flacid

Hi patentlaw,
Did you happen to find out what this problem was? I seem to have the same symptom. I have been to a doctor and they aren't too worried, but I am not so convinced.

Many thanks for the prompt reply.  I noticed that you mentioned a dermoologist, however, I wonder if they would be appropriate since the lump is in the shaft, not visible, and not on the skin.

thank you for answering my inquiry.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
This looks like a small cyst or some benign skin growth. If t ruptures, scabs over or becomes painful then please get it examined from  a dermatologist as infected cyst, herpes and penile malignancy need to be ruled out. Otherwise it should be left as such.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. Treatment can be started only when the diagnosis is confirmed. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
