No urge to urinate

Last march, i went on a trip to Guatemala. I became sick from the water and had diarrhea. I took a few pills, Imodium and something else I think. Everything cleared up fine; however, since i have been back in the States i have observed that I never feel the need to urinate. My bladder will fill until I feel the need to **** and then I will notice that all I really had to do was urinate. I feel no pain, and I barely ever urinate during the day. I need to know what happened to cause me not to feel the urge to urinate.
Thank You

Hello loolz,

You are having a mild side effect of loperamide which results in decreased urination. Stop the drug and wait for about a week for the symptoms to actually normalize.
