Thank you very much!
And sorry, what i meant to say was that the testicle that became twisted wasnt in great shape, and basically decided to just keep it. At which point he secured both of them. So i was wondering if it was the bad testicle that was hurting me, or that is was just common to still feel a (random) dull/aching pain years after orchiopexy.
I am confused by your reported history. You said one testicle was okayish, so he decided to leave it in. This suggests that the other testicle was removed (orchiectomy), which can be necessary if blood supply is cut off too long. But then you said he secured both testicles (orchiopexy), which is the procedure that should be done if the testicle that was twisted did not have to be removed, because the other testicle is likely to twist also if it is not secured.
I think you should get a recheck with the surgeon who did the surgery to get reassurance that everthing is fine. I suspect he could do an ultrasound or physical exam and set your mind at ease.
I will sent you a message with a link to an article about a treatment for pain. I don't think you can see the whole article, but you could ask your surgeon about it.
