Slight bit of blood following "extensive" masturbation (not STD)

This is a slightly embarrassing problem for me to have to ask about, and hopefully not inappropriate. If so, feel free to erase this query

When I was masturbating earlier, following (well actually slightly prior) to orgasm/ejaculation I noticed a small amount of blood with the regular seminal fluid that was dripping out. (I did not see this on the penis, however I noticed the slight drop of blood when a tissue was used to dab said fluids). I was unsure, however, whether the blood on the tissue had come from the inside of the urethra or from perhaps chaffed/cut skin.

Afterwards, however, there was some slight burning during a later period of urination, though I was unsure whether it exactly came from of the two prior mentionings. There still feels some small/slight sensation of some burning (with the passage or moevement forward of those drops of urine, the very little bit that doesn't always come out), similar to what one feels when something runs over an open cut (that kinda warmish-slight burning like feeling perhaps puts it best; before you clean it off). The fact that I'm feeling that from the leftover drops of urine makes me think this is inside my urethra (probably past the head....i dunno maybe less than 1/2 an inch if I had to guess) that is being irritated.

I know it's not an STD because I'm not at all sexually active.

Now, the embarrassing part, I take part - sometimes when masturbating - in what I guess could be called delayed/controlled climax/orgasm (pretty much, multiple times coming near reaching the climax point, stopping right before, and then continuing again as soon as it dies down enough to do so without reaching orgasm).

This little thing with the blood came after a very extended occassion of such (like...ugh, enough not to have a gauge time-wise of how long it lasted; it was a *very* extended occurence). I'm assuming that the little bit of blood came from a very small/tiny rupture in the urethra, possibly either due to the constant, extended, continously held building up of such a great amount of pressure (which normally is released), some sort of stretching, or possibly from loss of moisture or something.

It's worth noting that so far (following that climax) I haven't experienced any small drops of blood in the last few hours. However, as I already mentioned, the irritating/burning feeling seems to feel like it's from the bothered urethra.

I guess my main question is: if the tiny amoung of red blood was from within the urethra, how do I go about handling this? Is this something small that I just allow to heal by itself and don't give it very much attention as it will heal on its own?

Or - due to this possibly being something like a small cut within the urethra, an area that is in constant contact with fluids carrying urea, wastes, and other things to be expelled - is this something I need to go have a urologist or doctor look at, presumably sooner rather than later?

Again, this question is quite an embarrassing one for me to ask. I appreciate any and all help that can be given with regards to the matter though. Thank you in advance

Hello,
Any type of blood in precum or semen is not normal and needs to be evaluated. Causes include infections like herpes,Chlamydia, cytomegalovirus, trichominiasis ; inflammation of the prostate (prostatitis), epididymis (epididymitis), or urethra (urethritis) ; calculi (stones )in the seminal vesicles or prostate ; polyps in the urethra ; ejaculation-duct obstructions ; cysts, hemorrhage or other abnormalities in the seminal vesicles.

I suggest you to get a detailed physical examination done from a urologist. Diagnosed by physical examination and investigations like urinalysis, semen analysis and ultrasound and MRI.

I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.

If it hasn't already stopped by now that it is over a year old, I suspect you already contacted a docter. But what happened was you tore some tissue in your uretha. It should heal by it's self, and you shouldn't get too worked up about it.

regards,
