UTI??- 2 antibiotics and trip to Urologist... still have urgency to pee

Hi... I appreciate all opinions and would love a Dr. to respond too if possible.

I am a 35 yr old female with no children. I have had one sexual partner, my husband, in my life. About 1 month ago I got out of bed to urinate in the morning and it had a very foul odor. I saw my PCP who took a urine sample and said it tested positive for blood and white blood cells. She was supposed to send it for a culture but somehow my urine never made it to the lab. She put me on 7 days of macrobid and the odor went away but I still felt like i had a little urine trapped in my bladder with a sensation on my urethra like I needed to urinate. That symptom was off and on for two weeks and then I got up to urinate one morning and my urine was pink. The next time I urinated it had specs of blood in the toilet. My Dr. called in Cipro 500mg for 7 days (still no urine culture). The day I started the Cipro I never saw blood in my urine again but still had the sensation as though my bladder was not completley empty and my urethra had the same sensation as though I needed to urinate. I had one day of left of the Cipro and I started urinating every 5 mins for about 2 hours. I went to sleep and was fine. I got up the next morning and started urinating again every 5 mins (ALOT of urine) Not sure if that was me nerves bc I do have a history of health anxiety. Anyway, I made an appt with the Urologist and he said it sounded like a kidney stone in my ureter. He sent me for a CT scan and they didnt find any stones, only a lesion on my adrenal glad that the Urologist thinks is nothing. The Dr. sent me home and told me to finish the Cipro which I had one table left and come back in a week. Tuesday will be a week and I still do not have any visible blood in my urine but I do have a sense of urgency to pee. Everytime I urinate it feels as though I have to go again and I go just a little. Any thoughts? Could I just have a UTI that was never cured? I just dont know what is going on and Im starting to worry. Thanks so much for your help.

I have a feeling of irratation in my bladder and an urgency to pee every 30 minutes or so. I went to the clinic and a urine sample was tested. They said there was no bacteria in my urine but there was a trace amount of blood in my urine (I did not visually detect blood in my urine). I was prescribed a 5 day dose Supra twice daily and to drink 12 glasses of water a day. I am on day 5 and I still have a feeling of urgency to pee. I have an uncomfortable feeling in my bladder/urethra but no pain when I urinate just the urgency. My pee does not come out in a strong stream but a moderate stream. No pain in my kidneys. Any thoughts on what this might be?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It is good that the scan has come out clear for any kidney stones. Causes can be divided according to the affected organ and they are Kidney conditions (infection, pyelonephritis, kidney stones, polycystic kidney disease), Bladder conditions (cystitis, bladder polyp, bladder tumor), Urethral conditions (Sexually transmitted diseases, urethral injury, vaginal inflammation), and certain bleeding disorders. It can be due to chronic UTI or vaginitis also.

I would suggest that you consult your Doctor so further investigation can be done. You Doctor may request for some blood tests, urinalysis, urine culture, and an ultrasound or CT scan.
Hope it helps. Take care and do keep us posted on how you are doing.
