always have uti is it normal

everytime i go to the doctors i have a urinary track infection. is this normal? the doctor never said anything about it but i was asking because a nurse told me that it is a problem when you are always getting them. what could be causing this?

it's not normal to always have uti... i'd checkout a new doctor, meanwhile plenty of water and cranberry juice, there some over the counter medicines, ask the pharmacist.. but you'll probably need an antibiotic to clear it up permanently... infections can be caused by an active sex life or even improper wiping after urination.. a doctor can clarify the causes better

really i didnt know that having an active sex life with your husband would cause uti?! thats weird.

believe it or not it's possible, let's say you have an all nighter, that's why they use to call it honeymoonitis

well i guess im never gonna get rid of a uti then. so if you get a uti from sex then thats ok to always have one?  like it wont interfere with anything? or long term prob?

there is over the counter medicines that work pretty good, Azo is one and the other starts with a 'c' (this worked the best for me) the pharmacist will know what's the best!
