ejaculate consistency

Dear Dr.

following a vasectomy a few years ago I noticed that the consistency of my ejaculate became thick and at times almost jelly-like.  This is not a consistent situation but does seem to be chronic.  The color has not changed and there is no symptom that would cause me to have concern of infection of any type.  At times this can actually result in fluid not being able to be pushed outside of the penis due to its consistency.  Can you shed any light on this unusual situation?  is it due in any way to the Vasectomy?

Sincerely,

Curious to understand

Vasectomy can cause a change in the volume and propulsive force of the ejaculate. See the forum at www.revolutionhealth.com (http://www.revolutionhealth.com/forums/mens-health/bedroom/102817?page=1)

You'll notice the doctor initially says this is not vasectomy related, but then changes his mind after doing some research.

This is a question I would like to know also.  I have noticed this with my husband also.  He has not had a vasectomy though... I don't think that may be it.  I am curious to understand also.
