I've been wondering if masturbating specifically with the use of pressure is just as safe as "normal" masturbating?
I've been masturbating this way on average probably 1-2 times a week, sometimes more or less, for the past 9 years or so. I used to use pressure to masturbate when I actually did not have an erection - by applying enough pressure from a cushioned stool or something similar, I was able to have great orgasms. However, I stopped using pressure this way a couple years ago after I did this naked (bad idea!!) and broke the skin of my penis.
I still however have been using pressure to masturbate when I do have an erection. I can use any surface, but usually a bed mattress. With an erection I start applying force mostly to the base of the shaft, which kind of pulls back the entire penis - I gradually apply more and more pressure until climax is reached. Again, I don't masturbate this way most of the time, but probably 1 or 2 times a week.
It may seem silly, but I'm only concerned because in a certain comedian's act, they mention specifically that they heard that masturbating with pressure is not "supposed" to be good for your penis - even though I'm aware this is just a comedian's act, it still got me concerned.
I don't notice any damage that has been done or health concerns with my penis and I've been doing this off and on for 9 years, but is it safe in the long term? I just want to know if masturbating with pressure in these ways described above can somehow be more dangerous, or be a cause of concern or cause any damage, short or long term?
