penial discharge special needs child

my son is 16 with Cerebral Palsy, he is nonverbal and does not walk.He wears diapers. He has been having dark urine with a yellowish/amber jelly like discharge usually upon waking but also at other times during the day some days he seems to want to be changed after each time urinating as if it burns or hurts. He has been Cathed and urine tested results were negative for infection. He has seen two different urologist. They thought maybe dehydration but bloodwork does not support this.He does have Mono and has taken several different antibiotics, while docs were trying to find reason for his symptoms. Being nonverbal they sometimes just guess. Sometimes he seems to have stomach pain as well. He has hasd a low grade temp at times for the past month as well. Any Ideas?

Hi.

Were there any red blood cells noted in the urine? If yes, was the level elevated?

A dark urine may suggest that an underlying infection may be present. It may also suggest the presence of red blood cells which may be secondary to an infection or inflammatory conditions along the urinary tract. Some medications and dietary intake may also contribute to the urine's appearance.

You may ask your physician if an abdominal scan is indicated to assess the kidneys, ureter and bladder.Has this been done already? Also, I suggest that the complete blood count and levels of bleeding and coagulation factors be assessed.

Any other associated signs and symptoms like a rash, flulike symptoms and fever?
