Frequent urge to urinate, major tests have come negative

I'm a 23 year old male. Did marijuana for the last two years, a lot. For last year, masturbating once every night. Sleep pattern was also disturbed for last 3 months. A month ago, felt I wasn't getting relieved after urinating, and had to go several times. Had diabetes test, UTI test, urflowmetry and ultrasound. All came normal. Voided 480 ml, and 33 ml was post void. But flow was less. 9 ml/s and max 17 ml/s. Doctors have pinned it down to psychiatric issue when I told them about marijuana. I've stopped that, for life. The issue is somewhat troubling me still, although not as aggravated as when it began. It started very badly, I had to stand in the washroom one night for 20 minutes and pee 6-7 times before I could get my mind off bladder enough to sleep. Although even now, sometimes I have to push to get the last bit out. Kindly help me. I'd be grateful.

hey, I answered on the older thread you wrote on as well and so I'll just repeat here (didn't see that you had a question of your own until after). I didn't think it would on first reading your post but looked it up and there does seem to be a routine complaint from daily pot smokers of bladder and urinary issues.  Not sure how or why but it's definitely out there.  I don't think it's studied at all at this point.  Since it is recreational, I won't recommend eating it or using cbd oil instead since the point is the high.  I think you are probably on the right track for just giving it up.  See if things get better. IF not, go see your doctor.  You may have a uti or something.  And your pee will be clean so you can just go and get that figured out.  Here's a light article on safety of pot https://www.webmd.com/pain-management/features/is-marijuana-safe-web#1

Now I see you've been to the doctor and they tested you for uti's and that kind of thing.  IF it is psychological and that can happen (our brain can mess us up in all sorts of ways)---  what about just giving up pot and trying to get back to normal?  If you have anxiety ---  what about a therapist to talk to?
