pregnant blood found in urine sample

Hi I'm 24 wks pregnant and doc found trace of blood and protein in urine last week, sent it off to lab and came back no abnormalities.  Then had it checked today and doc said full of blood, not that I can see anything, looks clear to me!!  Sent it off again.  Doesn't look like this is from a UTI and I have no symptoms so what else could it be?  Baby is fine, but I'm worried sick I have something sinister wrong with me.  Any help appreciate!

THanks doctor, but they said there was no infection found, so what else could cause this blood or is it just something that can happen in pregnancy?

Hi,
     How are you? Blood in urine could be due to urinary tract infection(UTI) treatable with antibiotics. Not serious if treated. Very, very common in pregnancy and may have no symptoms.

Protein in urine, also  a possible sign of a urinary tract infection. Also possible is an early sign of preclampsia. Usually associated with  an increase in blood pressure. Once you have been treated for UTI, I would suggest that you discuss with your doctor regarding the above mentioned issues and seek help.
