Dead testicle coz of tortion

I had this tortion of one testicle and it wasnt treated on time,its been 2 months now.there r tow main questions i want to ask the are as follows:
1.As one of my testicle is dead and its been 2 months now but i havent got it removed yet,my fr said that its fine but i have to get removed as soon atleast as it starts producing anti bodies or something.As i m a student and cant get off from uni so i wanna ask that how much rest will i have to do???and how much more time i can keep it the it is ??
2.I had this test for fertility and it was negative as my one testicle is dead,i wanna ask that is there any treatment for it???or its like that i cant have my own kids ever????

I am 17 now, 1 year ago, my right testicle was hit by a lacrosse ball very hard because I wore my cup wrongly, the cup and I felt great pain after that. The pain lasted for about two weeks. I was afraid to tell my parents. It was very painful with nausea and abdominal pain but it did not swell that much as testicular torsion says. Later, it did not feel that painful but it is not as sensitive as my left testicle. My right testicle size does not change that much, I think maybe a little bit smaller(not sure). I have been concerned about this for a year. Sometimes, I think my right testicle caused some pain and more fatigue after masturbation. When I squeeze it hard and tap my right testicle hard, it will still feel, but I can feel my right scrotum is much softer than the left one. I have been worried about if I can have kids or if I experienced a torsion one year ago.

I still get sexually-aroused and can ejaculate and sometimes with yellowish jelly-like semen. Does that mean my left testicle is producing enough semen and testosterone.

i had a pain 6 months ago and doctors treat it like infection or epiditimis and they give me antibiotics after 5 months i go to a good hospital and as doctor said that your testis is dead according to MRI. So what should i do for this.

Please answer as soon as possible may be i can save it.

i recommend not masturbating as the area need time to recovery and thus masturbating will put extra strain on it. also dont do lots of activity ( running weight lifting )for atleast 2 weeks.

See a urologist ASAP, you could be exposed to a testicular torsion.

Is it normal for one of my balls to come up slower like alot slower. Even if one ball hangs a little lower should they still come up at the same speed ? Is this normal.. please help

I am 38 years old now. I had testicular torsion when i was 16 years but was wrongly diagonised as infection, and was given some pain killers and anti biotics. Soon after my left testacle shrunk to a pea-size. I married in 2000 and i have 3 beautiful kids. I have never again experienced pain neither in the shrunken testacle nor in the healthy one. 5 years ago and out of curiosity, i started googling this topic and i was alarmed when i read that the dead testacle should have been removed or would cause gangrene. I went to the John Radcliff Hospital (Oxford - UK) and after explaining my history, the performed a ultrasound on my testacles and told me there was no need to remove the dead one as all looked ok. However, i keep checking myself and googling just incase but have got no reason to go back to see a doctor.

HI, I did not have the same condition but I was born with undescended testicle. The left came down a short time after birth but the right not untill I was 13.
In my time growing up I did not experience any problems.

I got married in 1989 and my wife and I got three children. From about 1995 untill 2000 I used to come down with epididymitis or orchitis every 3 to 4 months requiring hospitalization. In 1999 I decided to have a vasectomy in the hope that infections would no longer spread into the testicles. Vasectomy had complications in the form of a hematoma, which resulted in an emergency surgery to remove the blood clot. A year later I lost the left testicle due to a staph infection. I had an emergency left orchiectomy on my birthday April 26, 2000.

Due to the infection the scrotum was left open to heal from the inside out. I had very little pain after the removal of the testicle. It took about 3 months before the scrotum had healed properly. Normaly a necrotic testicle is removed from the inguinal region. In my case this was impossible since the scrotum had swelled up to the size of a large grapefruit.

A necrotic testicle could end up being a problem, it differs from case to case.

i was misdiagnosed, they said i had eppididimitus...
It was torsion..
Left testiical then died...
I was sent to a specialist a year later and they said the current vein of thinking was to leave it in....
That was 7 years ago ... left testical is very small

In testicular torsion,  the spermatic cord that provides the blood supply to a testicle is twisted, cutting off the blood supply of the testicle.  Torsion can cause shrinkage and tissue death, and may require surgical removal of the testicles if not treated promptly. In some cases, damage or loss of a testicle affects a man's ability to father children. There is also an increased chance of having torsion on the other testicle. It is best to discuss this with your doctor for further evaluation and management.

i'm sorry quepues, i didn't understand did you leave the dead testicle in? i also suffered a testicle torsion in my right testicle and sufferd the same loss when i went to a uroligist he said that i suffered testicluar atrophy and there was nothin you can do. i asked him if i need surgery to remove the dead testicle but he asured me i don't . i did some reaserch and saw that dead cells can cause Gangrene i now worried if this guy misdiagnost.

I am 39 years old now but when I was about 13 or 14 I too had torsion of a testicle.  Our family did not have insurance at the time so my mother took me to a quack.  He misdiagnosed what I had.  I believe he said I had a hernia or an infection.  I forget.  He told me to where a jock strap and take some antibiotics and that was that.  I was in extreme pain that I do remember.
My testicle swelled up to the size of a baseball. and slowly but surely shrank into nothing. At the time I had no idea of what had happened.  I did not find this out until a few years ago when I went for a physical.  There the doctor patiently described that I had tortion of my testicle.
All these years and I had never heard of such a thing.
I went to see a urologist this past month.  He offered to do some type of surgery to my good testicle so that it would not be doomed by the same demise my other testicle went thru.  He said since it happened to one that it was likely to happen to the other.  Well I told him it had happend 26 years ago.  He said since I have been without problems for 26 years then I probably didn't need the surgery.  He did not even mention anything about the bad testicle whether or not I had some residual testicle left or not and if I did whether it was dangerous to leave it.  So I take it as being that it is allright.
By the way I happen to have fathered 5 kids.
