Most seem pretty basic. Some specify some particular low-fat ingredients but you can play with them and work them to fit your own lifestyle. I just find it good to have options and to view an alternate way of cooking or preparing food.
Libraries also have copies of some health magazines. That could be another source of info.
It will be interesting to read the doctors response. Not too many people ask about cooking.
I never thought about subscribing to WW newsletter. Are the desserts and meals quick and easy to make?
Fresh fruit is always good.
I subscribed to the Weight Watchers newsletter (subscription is free) and they post a range of low kilojoule meals and desserts.
