Congrats on your baby. I am currently on week 2 of the B12/MIC injections, phen, and Calcium Pirubate diet. I went for my first weekly check-up after getting the injection, and I lost 5 lbs and 2% body fat in the first week. I did not really work out the first week except a few short walks with my children. I have cut out all breads and sugars from my diet. If you do not have a problem changing your diet to see great results, this is an inexpensive way of doing it. I am not sure if you are breast feeding, but I am pretty sure you can not take the diet suppresent while you are breast feeding. Let me know how it works out if you do try it! :)
Absolutely - post-pregnancy is definitely a challenging time!
There is some interesting data that suggests that taking probiotics can actually be particularly helpful for women who have recently given birth.
Otherwise, now is a great opportunity to first take stock of what's in the pantry - both literally and figuratively. Take a week to see what you have been eating at home, and keep a detailed food diary (and activity diary) to recognize what are you doing now. I actually recommend doing it without any effort to change your behavior. But after even a week you will start to realize that there are some easy changes you can start making!
