instant bleeding during sex help??

So ive been on the microgynon pill from age 14 for really heavy periods. At 17 i had sex and i immediately had bright red period type blood. Loads of it. Being embarrassed i told no one and didn't do anything sexual in year, i then decided to switch to depo and its happened multiple times even without penetration, it even happens with clit stimulation. Everytimes the same no pain just a gush of blood. I mentioned it to my dr 3 times and she seemed unworried but im not sure so anyone else experienced this?

Oh, I'm glad you called.  They'll do a full gynecological exam.  Have you had one of those before?  Please let me know when you are seeing the doctor and what they say!!  I think it will help other people too!

I guess I'd do more than mention it to your doctor but ask for help with it.  That's got to put a damper on your sex life.  Bleeding the first few times you have sex is normal but this sounds like more than that. Remember though, the cervix can be vascular and if it is rubbed, hit, nicked, it WILL create a gush of blood.  Are you well lubricated before sexual activity?  Could you have microtears?  I know it's painless (which glad you don't have pain). There is something called cervical ectropion that can cause this type of bleeding---  your ob could check for that. You could have low estrogen or endometriosis. These are all things that you can have checked so I'd speak to your doctor about investigating this more thoroughly next time you are in.  Let me know what you think!
