Bumps on inner thigh, under arms, on lower belly!

I've had this problem since middle school and I'm now out of school. I've been to get checked and the doctors tell me it's where I'm heavy set, which I just can't set myself to believe that. Sometimes boils occur, but mostly just pimples and very small non painful bumps under the top layer of skin. It itches from time to time, but not all the time. I've looked up HS disease and it looks familiar.. Sometimes I'll also have these small bumps  Someone please give me an idea of what this May be.

My husband has similar issues, and he is heavy-set.  These irritations come from the folds of skin remaining in contact for long periods, sweating, and forming acne/boils/abcesses. The key to keeping this under control is to wash these areas several times a day.  Yes, it's a pain in the butt.  But if you carry baby wipes with you, it's easy to do on a bathroom trip.  Also shower in the morning AND evening.  Blessings - Blu  PS: after washing these areas, make sure they are DRY when you are done.

Those are all places where you could have lymph nodes.  Are they beneath the skin?
