Post DNC Health

7 months ago I had a DNC operation. My husband and I are planning to have a baby in a year. Is there any precautions I should take into consideration?

many thanks!

Hi there.  So, you had a miscarriage?  I'm so sorry sweetie.  That's hard!  Was it a molar pregnancy and that is why you are waiting a year?  Anyway, just know that the majority of women who have a miscarriage go on to have healthy pregnancies and babies.  I don't think there is anything you need to know post D&C.  Some women avoid D&C's because of scar tissue potential but in truth, most who have them do go on with no issue after and become pregnant, carrying baby to term.  So, good luck to you with the baby making and peace for your loss.
