Abnormal Menstural Cycles?

I was wondering if I should be concerned about my menstrual cycle. For the past two months I have had 2  day light menstrual cycle and before that period I spotted for two weeks straight until my period. I was wondering if this should be something I should be concerned about and yes I am sexually active and not on any birth control. My periods are normally 4-5 days and changed last year.

Many things can delay a period, and make our cycles change. But since yours changed from spotting for 2 weeks until your period, then to a light flow only lasting 2 days I would say you should see your doctor. Sounds like you could have PCOS or something, so best to get checked. It's nothing serious if you have, and many women have this, but best to be seen by a doctor in case you need any meds to help it.

Hey Kellie,

I would say you should completely be relaxed and there is no need for you to worry about the light period or a heavy cycle. You have the change in the cycle may be due to the hormoneal changes in your body or the climate. Just relax and things will be fine in the next cycle. If you have irregular bleeding in the mid of the cycle or most often then it is a matter of concern.
