Hello,
Starting about five months ago, I started having occasional stabbing (like a quick knife jab) in various areas of my stomach. It would only be in one spot and only happen once. I contributed it to stress as my mother was very ill and passed away only a month later. I went for my annual PAP two months ago, and brought up my symptoms to my doctor. I underwent an abdominal and vaginal ultra sound which showed a right simple ovarian cyst and a questionable lobular area on my kidney, so I went for an MRCP. The MRCP showed that my kidney is fine, but my billiary and common bile ducts are both dilated, but no stone or mass is seen. It also showed a small possible cyst in my liver. I am set to now follow up with a GI specialist later this month.
Anyway, the stabbing symptoms are happening more frequently, mostly in my right upper abdomen, right side, and left lower abdomen. I have also noticed my bowels have changed, getting lighter brown and I don't go as my usual routine used to be. Not constipated, just not what it used to be in regard to routine.
Also, if I press under my rib cage, I feel tenderness, mostly on the right side. My MRCP showed that my gallbladder has no issues, so I am at a loss.
Any ideas?
