Bad tasting breast fluid

Husband complains that breast fluid tastes bad.  What can cause this and how can I stop it?  I know this sounds gross, but it really embarrasses me to have him think I taste bad.  I am not nursing and I am sure it is normal breast fluid, but haven't ever heard of anybody else having this problem.

I agree that you should check it with your doc.  Don't have to say it "tastes bad," just say that you are having fluid coming from your breasts, and you simply want to be sure it's not from an infection or anything.  (Of course, you know it's not an infection, but at least that way you don't have to open the whole tasteful or not can of worms. LOL)  There is ALWAYS a way to mention things to your doctor.  Good luck!

Did you ever figure out what the bad tasting fluid was?  I have the same problem with my wife, and it sounds exactly like what you went through.

Same issues here...so tired of everyone saying it's not supposed to happen or that they have never heard of it. WE NEED SOMEONE TO SOLVE THE ISSUE THATS WHY WE'RE HERE. My doctors have all said they have "never heard of that problem". Wouldn't you think some one would like to come up with a solution to make us girls feel a little bit more like ourselves? Think about the glands people...is it possible that the whole thing is related? Get back to me.

Hi,  I've had that same problem for years,If I press my nipples I get a milky/yellow dischrage. My husband can't go near my breasts because I get embarrassed, we have both tasted the same onion/garlic taste over and over, somehow if he licks or ***** my breasts we know what comes next. I told my doctor, had and MRI of the pitutuary gland, mamography, sonograms and the only problem I have are two fibroadenomas, one on each breast. For my discomfort the doctor prescribed Dostinex and I just started the treatment.
Botom line...the bad tasting discharge does exists

Is it really a discharge/fluid? I seem to have a similar situation where my boyfriend tastes like onions after he has sucked on my nipples. This isn't due to a discharge... its mor of the fact that women wear bras all say long and sweat liners on the nipple. Its a combination of sweat and his mouth chemistry. Its really nothing to worry about. If it bothers you a lot, take a shower before hand and use and anti-bac soap.
