Breast ultrasound

Ultrasound was performed throughout both breasts. All four quadrants and the retroareolar area were scanned. In the right breast 2:00 3 cm from nipple 0.8 cm oval parallel avascular hypoechoic probably benign mass. In the left breast 3:00 5 cm from nipple heterogeneous 3.0 cm microlobulated mass with internal vascularity.. No axillary adenopathy.

IMPRESSION:
Left breast: Suspicious
Right breast: Probably benign

BIRADS ASSESSMENT CATEGORY 4: Suspicious

RECOMMENDATION:
Left ultrasound core biopsy 3:00 5 cm from nipple.

I take it, this is a report from the ultrasound tech or doctor?

Looks like on one side they are saying it's probably nothing, and the other they are suggesting a biopsy to see what it is because they find it "suspicious."

Again as I said on your other post, talk to your doctor's office. Tell them you need to understand what the report means and don't want to wait.
