Have UTI symptoms, but Urine Culture came back negative?

I'm 21 years old and pretty healthy besides getting frequent UTI's and yeast infections after sexual intercourse. For the past 2 weeks, I've had symptoms of a UTI. I've had plenty UTI's in the past, so I know what they feel like. My symptoms over the past few days have progressed and gotten much worse, so I decided to go an Urgent Care today. The Urgent Care took a urine culture and it came back negative for a UTI. I have back pain, frequency to urinate, pain when I urinate etc. all the classic symptoms of a UTI. I have been waking up every morning for the past few days with my bladder burning and needing to pee really badly. The doctors took an STD test for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. They treated me with Azithromycin for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. The STD test has yet to come back. I don't have discharge or any real symptoms of an STD besides the frequency to urinate. Also, they gave me such a high dosage of the antibiotic that I threw up and have been having diarrhea. What could I possibly have if I don't have a UTI? Is there any other sort of infections like a UTI that could be the problem? They doctor told me if it doesn't subside soon to see a urine specialist.

Have they run the second culture on your urine specimen?  I've been clear the first time but KNEW I had a uti and they re ran it and sure enough. . .  Honestly, most std's are symptomless or so subtle that you don't feel anything.  You can get a screening but would doubt it is mimicking the undeniable sensation of a UTI.  I'd call your doctor back and get another urine test (and you don't need a specialist for that . . . they should do it one more time).  good luck
