I’ve had my nipples pierced before and gotten a mass, is it safe to get repierced?

I’ve had my nipples pierced before and gotten a mass in my right boob and had surgery to remove it, it’s been about four years without them but I really want to get them repierced. So my question would be is it a bad idea to get them done again if I know now to be more mindful to keep them clean even after they’re healed? I think before I thought once they healed it would be like my belly piercing and be ok with dirt such as sweat, saliva, and just regular all day dirt from body! I keep telling myself if I be more precautious to dirt around my piercings then maybe I can get them repierced!!! Please help me before I go to the tattoo shop and make a mistake! Thank you
