Can a cervical infection be detected the same way as a vaginal infection?

I've been tested for yeast infections and bacterial vaginosis and tests come out negative, but still feel like I have symptoms!

I've been tested more than once and it's still the same!
See, I've been experiencing some itchig, specially when my period is about to start, and I have noticed this fishy smell that comes out, but it only happens when I masterbate.
I have a proper hygiene and make sure I always wash my hands before and after as well as washing myself after doing it.

I'm a virgin, so I don't do any fingering, and it can't be a STD for sure. So, could it be a cervical infection instead of a  vaginal? I mean, my doctor only takes a swab of my vaginal fluids, but never checks my cervix because of the virginity thing. Can a cervical infection be detected the same way as a  vaginal infection? I assume it would, because the fluids from the cervix have to come out some way, and that way is the vagina. Am I correct?
