Almost 3 months late!!
This is enough to drive most women crazy I think! I am 26, married, never been pregnant... It is July 13th and I haven't had a period since April 21st. I've always had regular and normal periods. I stopped taking YAZ back in November. I've taken several pregnancy tests and they have all been negative. I also went and got a blood test today and it was negative. I am scheduled to have an ultrasound tomorrow. So it will be 3 months since I have had a period in 8 days. No real symptoms that I can tell. I was nauseous for a few weeks about two months ago. Food didn't sound good... I just wasn't very hungry but I never threw up or anything. Now I don't really feel anything... I have been kinda dizzy the past 2 days. I know this isn't normal in any way, shape, or form! Any ideas? I haven't been stressed at all! Now I am stressing about what is possibly wrong with me!! We have not been careful at all... so I feel like pregnancy is a very strong possibility but not with neg blood/urine tests.
its always nice and sometimes neccessary to get a second opinion. especially if you feel that your are not being given the proper "respect" by your current dr. i wish you luck and do some research yourself on line about the "loop of bowel'..hope all is well
So life isn't getting any less frustrating! The Dr. had his nurse call me back, apparently he can't do me that courtesy. She said everything looks good... my ovaries and uterus are the correct size. They want me to have another ultrasound in two weeks because I have a "loop of bowel" near my right ovary. So they want to check it again in two weeks. I asked her what she meant by a "loop of bowel." It makes me think it is wrapped around something or might cause me some issues. She said she "doesn't really know" what it means... but basically there is a loop next to my right ovary and they just want to make sure it is okay with another ultrasound. Anyway, I don't know what this could have to do with me missing 3 months of my period! It doesn't seem to me like it should affect your period at all?! So I guess I will pay another $250 to have another ultrasound... may go to a different Dr. too. Someone who may show me a little more concern and courtesy.
Went to get my ultrasounds this morning. It went well... had to get an internal ultrasound too. I had one before and it hurt me but this time I did not have any pain. I think the lady before was just too rough. I am so anxious about getting my results... I asked the technician if she saw anything and she said she couldn't say. It makes me more nervous because it seemed like there was something she didn't want to tell me. The last technician told me last time that she did not see any cysts or anything. I know she probably wasn't supposed to but my mind is going crazy thinking about what could be wrong... This lady also asked me a lot more questions than the other lady when she was finished. Like if I had any pain, any past pelvis surgeries, and why I had been sent to get and ultrasound...? Hopefully the doctor will call me today, he should have the results by this afternoon. So I'll just wait it out I guess.

it might just be your body trying to get back to normal from the YAZ pill, that is since you have taken a few pregnancy tests already which proven negative.. but you never know it could be millions of things with us women you never know what to expect .. just wait and see what happens tomorrow at the u/s appointment, i hope it goes well and feel free to let me know what happens if possible, i am very anxious.. best of luck to you : )
well its not impossible to still be pregnant and have neg blood/urine tests. it has happened before so it could happen again. it has been 37 days for me since the first day of my last period and i took several preg. tests that said neg. about 2 weeks ago. i refused to take another hpt so i ahve made an appt with my dr. for monday..we will see. plz keep me posted on what you find out. and i know its hard not to stress but dont. not good for baby if you are prego!
