I used to leave my fiance, check into a hotel, do crazy things every saturday before my period. I think when you feel the hormonal side effects of pmdd, you try to figure out why you feel so bad. You go through every possible thing in your life that is negative, then your husband walks in the room, and boom!
I am being treated now, by a reproductive endocrinilogist. I truly didn't/don't remember a lot of the pmdd time, but I acted out of character. All it took to fix my life was a hormone balancing tx. I am grateful he helped me to get help.
good luck.
My wife is on Prozac, which helps her mood tremendously at times. Lately, however, when she is PMSing, she is way out of control - like a monster at times. She just blew up last night and left the house because of a few minor things, then called my mom and said some things that should not have been said. She wouldn't normally be like this, but I'm really concerned and wonder if this may be the time to increase that Prozac dosage? She also suffered from Endometriosis a long time ago - could this be part of what's going on and making her worse during her period? She will be 40 in about two weeks.

I do not have PMDD but I am taking Yaz because I wanted a lower hormone level of BC. I was on Yasmin before I planned my pregnancy last year. From what I have read, Yaz is the only FDA drug approved for the treatment of PMDD. You can go to google and search reviews of the drug to see what people are saying.
