ovulation question

Hey ladies! The Maternal forum is full so I thought I would jump over here!. I am TTC and have been back to the RE to get the HCG shot to help with ovulation. Here's the thing...I had a 26 day cycle last month. I've been using an OPK pack and have not had a surge, but when I got up this morning I've noticed a lot of cervical mucous that is cloudy and stretchy. I have also had ovary pains, like ovualtion. I called the RE and she said she thought it would be too early for the shot and that you can't go by cervial mucous. I'm confused, I thought a BIG sign of ov. was the cervical mucous. Anyone have any insight on this. I'm just scared of missing my chance to concieve this month. If my cycle was 26 days wouldn't that put me to ovulate around this time? I'm on cycle day 11.......Thanks!

My only advice would be to BD anyway, I also thought that EWCM was a big indicator. I think the ONLY FOR SURE way to conceive is too BD at all the right times!!! BABY DUST TO YOU!!

Hopefully someone can help you out more than I can!

I have a 30 day cycle...and lets see...my first son...i did on day...13, but I think I had a day or two shorter cycle then...my second son, I did on day...14. So I would say yeah, if you are on day 11 of a 26 day cycle...youd be about right...maybe your doctor is giving you your shots to late, thats why you havent concieved yet...I would do the BD today anyway...and tommorow...and the next day...lol...
