Does anyone one else have this problem with mrkh syndrome?

I am seventeen years old and was diagnosed almost a year ago with mrkh syndrome.  My whole life I've had problems with holding going to the bathroom.  When I was in middle school I used to dehydrate myself so I wouldn't have to go as frequently but that didn't really help.  One of the specialist that I have seen in the past told me that the problems are probably not related but I beg to differ.

In the past I have been told all sorts of wrong and false things about the set up of my body by doctors.  A year before I was diagnosed I was told that I did have a uterus but later found out that was a mistake reading of the ultrasound.  The first time I had a vaginal exam the gynecologist said that I had a cervix and a hymen.  She was wrong about both.  Also she  thought I was tensing up for no reason when she was pressing as hard as she could with the q-tip not knowing that was as deep as what my vagina was (1 cm).

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
I can understand your concern but MRKH syndrome is characterized by congenital aplasia of the uterus and the upper part (2/3) of the vagina in women. Transabdominal ultrasonograph is a simple and noninvasive method and you can get it done. Other than that a MRI scan can also confirm the aplasia of uterus.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I think I'm hearing your question.
I am 40.  With MRKH.
Yes, your bladder and kidneys can be affected.
Other health related issues need to be considered.

I'm horrified that a dr would dismiss your concerns.  You have to do your own research.

Research has shown other conditions related to MRKH
decreased hearing, spine problems, Sprengel, heart,

Please don't put all of your effort and self worth in your vagina.
