Could I be pregnant?

Well, this is really strange, but first I was a week late on my period... I know now that if you have a great emotional upheavel it can alter your periods, so I began to think I was pregnant. Litterary hours before my actual period started me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex where he came in me... Then a couple of hours later in the night my period started... Is there any chance I could get pregnant? I know sperm can live in the body for up to 3 days... But this is the third day and I'm still on my period... Can anyone help?

Unlikely, but it depends on when you ovulate. Many women are under the impression that it is always 14 days before your period, and this is not true. It's possible to ovulate and conceive anytime, including during your period. Sperm can survive in a female for up to 7 days in the proper conditions, so you should never have unprotected sex at anytime unless you're in a very stable relationship and could handle a pregnancy. Wait at least 2-4 weeks and take a test with first morning urine.

theres always a chance of pregnancy b/c womens ovulation times vary. some women have a period while pregnant. if you are pregnant it wouldnt just cause your period to stop. i would say chances are very very slim that youre pregnant
