Freaking out/ anxious

I haven't had my period in 2 1/2 months... I'm not sexually active nor have I ever been... At my tennis practice and my games my stomach starts hurting close to my vaginal area and I begin feeling nauseous... Why is this... I'm really scared especially considering that I've never been sexually active and yet I'm missing my period... :'(

Hi there. When I was in my 20's, I had very long cycles so that I had a period every three to four months due to a slow thyroid.  I also was producing too much estrogen.  It lasted for about a year and a half and went back to normal without medical intervention.  I would suggest seeing your doctor to do some blood work.  Hypothyroidism is very common.  good luck hon

See your doctor to have some tests run.  If you play sports excessively, this could be a reason for a missed period.  Other causes are hormonal imbalances, cysts, illness, excessive/sudden weight gain/loss, extreme dietary/exercise changes, etc.

Depends how old you are and how many sports you do.
Every women should visit the Dr once per yr. the pain part you should speak about to the Dr. Unless it's like a pulled groin muscle, I don't see a reason for the pain. Take your period calendar. The Gyn will want to know when your last period was. Good luck. Post your results. Maxy
