Frequent urinary infections

I get uriniary infections a lot, three times this year, I'm sexually active but I always make sure to stay clean before and after. I would like to know why it happens to me so often. Help.

When you have to pee, do you go straight to the bathroom or do you have one of those jobs that you have to hold your pee frequently and for long periods of time? Also when you feel like another infection is coming on, drink a lot and I do mean a lot of cranberry juice.
