Genital Wart treatment questions

I already posted a few questions last week on another post regarding hpv.  I went to the doctor and she put liquid nitrogen on the warts.  Most of them became smaller but some did not entirely disappear.  In fact one of them (which is kind of like a cluster of 2 or 3) doesn't seem to have changed much at all. Is this normal?  Is it normal to have to go back for a number of treatments like this before the warts have disappeared?  I just want to get rid of these ASAP!  I don't even care about the pain.  I just want to get back to feeling like a sexy woman again! :) lol.  If anyone has any other suggestions for good treatments please let me know.  But I am being treated with nitrogen at the present time so if you know anything about that, please share your knowledge so that I can feel at ease knowing that the treatment is working but just taking some time.  Thanks everyone.

Teresa - didn't want to tell you this but indeed, a girlfriend of mine, thanks to her cheating partner, ended up with warts and it took 3 visits to get rid of them all. Her doctor also warned her of this upfront...

Anyway - they'll go eventually :)

Thank you thank you thank you to everyone.  I feel much better now knowing that it usually doesn't completely go away on the first try....well i'm not happy that it takes longer, but i'm glad to know that they will go away with a few more treatments.  Thanks for putting my mind at ease.  :)

not a big deal but you do need to go back to the doc and have them treated again. if the freezing is too painful, there is a cream the doctor can use, but that takes more treatments, so I'd say bare with it, and get rid of them.

Freezing warts with liquid nitrogen usually does not work with only one treatment; typically it takes 2-3 treatments.  Keep going back to your provider every few days for repeat treatment.  Probably just 1 or 2 more visits.
