Hard painful lump

2 days ago..almost like out of no where..I was getting changed and somehow I noticed close to my bikini line near the end of my vagina was very swollen. I looked closer to find there was a lump there that was not there the day before. It is very painful. It hurts when I sit or stand and walking because of my underwear touching it. I have no idea what this is. The lump is under the skin, it is hard and hurts. I don't see any ingrown hair in it, and there is no white head to it. I would say it is about the size of a quarter. Anyone have any ideas?? I will be going to the Dr. Just thought I would see if anyone on here has any ideas.

i've just found exactly the same thing about two weeks ago. Its close to my bikini line and there is a bump under the skin which is painful when i touch it and when my underwear or trousers touch it. it feels the size of a pea under the skin. I'm going to see the doctor this week, but just wondered if you could help me? What was your diagnosis? xx
