Hey, it's normal to worry about our health when we have a change in things. Glad to hear your doctor has reassured you. Come back and visit us any time for whatever you are worried about. :))) We'll be happy to help!
So, your cycle is longer but that is your norm now it sounds like. Instead of a 28 day cycle, you are like 40 days. Here is one way to know if you are ovulating and if you do it over time, you will get a pattern to tell when you will probably be in your more fertile time. Get a thermometer and keep it by your bed. Get a chart or journal or something and put it there too. On day one of your period, take your temp and record it. Do it before you even get out of bed. And do it every single morning. What you will see is you are a set temp or close too every day-- until you have ovulated at which time it will go up a full degree. This new higher temp will be your norm UNTIL your period starts and then it drops back down to the lower temp. If your temp never has that degree rise, you aren't ovulating. If you see the rise, it means you just ovulated. Does that make sense?
