Help! Thanks!

So for the past 3 weeks I've been dealing with lip problems..
Okay so here's my story. I had bought aquophore and had put it on immediately because I'm used to having something on my lips I then ate I'd say 10 mins later and after eating my lips were burning so bad! I even had my co worker say my lips were red! So I thought it was from my food wiped my lips clean it and put more aquophore on over and over a lot cause my lips were burning entire lips. I then had red burning lips and realized it might be from the aquophore... so I stopped using it hours later.
The next day it resulted in skin colored bumps outlining the top of my lip everywhere and then a big red group on bottom of lip. That soon resulted in a white pimple like thing. I went to the doc freaking out and she immediately told me "cold sore" I was crying and balling and I am in denial.. she gave me acyclovir creme for my lips and I put it all over my lips. The next day immediately that red patch went away and I was left with irritated skin like bumps all over still after the shower these white bumps would be more prone and would wipe away. Never once did it ooze scab etc. now days later everything went away. I just notice now a faint dry looking pink rash like on my lip. It comes up when I eat or put chapstick on and will not go away. Does not burn tingle ooze etc but when I do get out of the shower it appears to have white bumps then wipes away... has not scabbed ever. I've been putting on the creme which is not helping and also got lysine and taking like 5 a day... I'm freaking out and don't want to take the test for herpes cause then I'd be depressed all my life. Thanks
