Can you bleed heavily & be pregnant?

I've had very heavy clotting periods, on time each month that have lasted 7-8 days, for the past 5 months. Can you still be pregnant with periods that heavy?

Bring it up to your gyno.  She'll probably have an ultrasound done to check for a cyst.

No, it wouldn't.  If you're having a heavy period, there's no reason to think you'd be pregnant as your body's still shedding the lining and old egg.  The only time to suspect it would be if you are having a way lighter flow on a given month.

Have you been told you're pregnant?

You should not be bleeding so heavily if you are pregnant or at all.  That's cause for an ER visit because of possibility of miscarriage.
