Mixed Signals

Hey all, having mixed signals on whether or not there's a bun in my oven. Quick back story, I finished my last pack of birth control pills on November 9th and had my period November 15-17th (my periods have always been this short while on bc). My boyfriend and I then had unprotected sex on November 18, 19, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 28, and 30th. I haven't seen any signs of starting my period and got a negative results on hpt on December 19th and the 21st. My boobs have been a little sore, have had some thick discharge these past couple of weeks and have recently been feeling some pulling/stretching sensations around my belly button along with some pains on both sides of my lower tummy. Is it possible I am pregnant but one of those lucky ones who get negative results on hpt or did I test too early? Was thinking about testing again but not sure when? Also thinking it could just be my body adjusting to not being on birth control anymore.. Any and all help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Yes mama without a dout I think ur pregnant. It was the same way with me. I took maybe 5 pregnancy test all we're negative. Then I took the 6 days before missed period test 4 days before my missed period and sure enough it was positive. I was so excited because the day before I tested I prayed and ask God if I was pregnant to let it show on my anniversary and that morning he answered my prayers. Not only that ,he blessed us with two.Lol
Hope this helped

Oh, and by the way, if you are trying to conceive, doctors recommend sex every other day rather than every day to help with sperm count.  good luck

Hi there and welcome.  Well, when on birth control pills, a woman doesn't have a 'real' period.  The hormones are manipulating things.  You went off the pill and your hormones are now regulating back to normal.  it is not unusual to have a late cycle after discontinuing birth control pills.  I'd guess that you are not pregnant but getting ready to have your first 'real period.  It doesn't sound like you tested too early BUT--- hard to say after birth control pills if you ovulated right on schedule. So, that is a possibility.  But in all honesty, to me you sound like you are getting ready to have a period.  best of luck to you.
