I just found out I have gallstones..

I got the test results back from my abdominal ultrasound today
and found out I have small gallstones.  (My doctor orderd the
ultrasound because of pelvic pain.)  Boy, was I surprised!
I'm getting another test done on July 10th for a better view.
I'm also getting a pelvic ultrasound done tomorrow to see if
there are other problems causing pain.  Has anyone else had gallstones?  What kind of treatment was done or recommended?

Not sure on the effect of the cycle, but my mom had gallstones for a long time, she had to stay away from anything spicy, anything with caffeine( well she limited herself).

Until finally it got so bad she had to have surgery, she one that was stuck, and the size of a lemon, Dr. said it was the biggest one he's seen. She's been fine ever since.

Sorry i couldnt be more help, next time i talk to her, i waill ask her some more about it. Good luck sweetie
