I think I may have staph down there.

This is something that has been around for me for probably four or five months, and I think it might be a staph infection. It’s reoccurring and it’s like a small boil, it can be filled with pus but it’s not in or on my vagina. To describe the whereabouts, it’s near the outer part, where you open your legs and it’s near the left side. It might be on the labia majora. It’s not directly on it, but is is pretty close, I’m just now sure how to describe where exactly it is.

I have an appointment soon so I’ll ask about it then, but it’s freaking me out. This time, it’s sore and irritated, and it’s never stung like this before. I think it’s either staph or something else, it’s just really making me paranoid. Last time it went away and it stung but it’s never stung this badly. I take some probiotics for vaginal health so hopefully that should help, but I don’t know what else to do until I go to my appointment. It keeps coming back and I don’t know if I’m stuck with this or it’ll just completely go away. I just want to know what it is and what I could before my appointment so it isn’t as painful.

Sounds like a clogged pore. Have you tried sitzbaths with a little Epsom salts in the water?
