Over the past few weeks I have been experiencing dull cramps in my lower abdomen and constant brown discharge since my period at the start of the month. This week I have had very painful, sharp pelvic pains accompanied by bright orange discharge with specs of blood in. I went for a swab test this week, and was tested for STI's chlamydia and gonorrhoea, which came back clear. Along side these symptoms I have also had the symptoms of thrush, which was confirmed to be thrush by my university GP, who prescribed me with canisten duo. I used canisten, but couldn't insert the pessary pill fully as i felt too swollen and the insertion was ver painful. I managed to finally use 3/4 of the pill and since then my thrush symptoms (irritation) have seemingly gone, however now I am having mild cystitis symptoms (treating these with cystitis relief sachets today.)
I am still experiencing dull pelvic pains, accompanied by a pressure-like feeling in my ovaries, and also still have the orange discharge. I am on a combined pill, which my GP explained will make problematic ovarian cysts very uncommon.
I have an appointment with my GP scheduled again for next week, however I'm growing increasingly worried by this pressure pain and the abnormal discharge, also the bottom of my stomach seems and feels very swollen. Has anybody ever experienced this?
After having a look online I feel like alot of my symptoms match those of pelvic inflammatory disease, but this disease is triggered by chlamydia/ gonorrhoea which i have tested negative for?
Really at a loss at the moment, I'm unable to leave the house as the pains are growing worse and I'm worried sick.
If anybody has any advise I would be really grateful!
Thanks x
