I thought I was about to start my period so I wore a tampon [even though my mom told me not to do that] and now it hurts to urinate and I think it's swollen down there. What could that be? Is there some unprescribed medication I could use?
Yes, there's a lot of discharge. My urine was only discolored because I was taking some over the counter AZOs. I went to the doctor this morning. She examined me and prescribed some medication for a bacterial vaginal infection. :\
Next time listen to your mom. Is there any discharge? You might have a urinary tract infection. Does your urine look dark, have a strong odor? Try drinking some cranberry juice, see if that alleviates the painful urination. Warning though: Cranberry juice tastes nasty.
