Late Period and freaking out!

I am 25 and I have been having a lot of clear, watery cervical mucus.  I am not sexually active and I have already ovulated this month.  I have missed my period for now about 4 days.  I did some exercising Saturday and I got the cervical mucus Sunday and have had it since.  Why is my period late and why do I have a lot of cervical mucus?  I even have had period symptoms.  Please Help!

I agree with above.  Stress certainly can cause periods to be late as can new routines, illness, weight gain or loss, etc. Most women have late periods from time to time and it is normal.

Mucus changes/discharge changes are also normal.  Our hormones shift over the course of a cycle and I honestly would not try to analyze the discharge so much.  If you have a foul odor or itching/cottage cheese/lumpy discharge, then it is a concern.  Otherwise, it is the natural fluctuations that happen because of hormones.

So, you are not sexually active which is the good news. Your period should be here soon.  If you skip a full cycle, call your doctor.  I had thyroid issues of a slow thyroid and had very long cycles due to this and a doctor diagnoses that.  good luck

Well I do know that if you are stressing out, that could delay your period in of itself.
The discharge you are having, I don't know. Maybe someone will have better info... But if it continues, call your Dr.
