Late period

Hi!
I am on my 4th sugar pill and will be taking my 5th tonight and still havent gotten my period but I have been getting these slight cramps as if Im going to but this morning and I checked and a small amount of white discharge. So this is what happened me and my bf had sex on his birthday which was the 10th of oct and the condom broke and at that stage I only had days of the pill because Im pretty sure I missed the pill the day before the 6th day (been on the pill for over a year now) so on the 12th I went to the doctors and got a morning after pill and I didnt vomit or anything so it must mean i absorbed it well. Then again we had sex on the 23rd and used the pull out method but I definietly had at least 7 days of protection this time but one the 1st day i took it 9 hours late but thats still within the 12 hours. and we had sex the following day too with the pull out method and i had 8 days of pill protection at this stage. I was still very worried so I took a pregnancy test 5 days later and it came out negative. But now back to the start my period is doing this... what could be the reason? I do have exams at the moment and I am stressing out alot about being pregnant because my parents cant know. When we had sex the 2nd and 3rd time it was 2 and 3 days before my period was due so when I was due to start on the sugar pill. Help please :)

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
You had intercourse during the relatively safe period. So chances of any pregnancy are less. If you are apprehensive regarding the status of your pregnancy you can get it checked. Most home pregnancy tests that check urine beta-HCG are sensitive to 20-25 mIU/ml of HCG. The test can be positive anywhere from about 2-3 days prior to a missed menses to 4-5 days after, but usually it should be done 7-10 days past your missed period.

Otherwise you can get a serum HCG also done which is more specific than urine pregnancy test.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
