Need advice.....

I am 29 and for about 7 years I had had bad teeth that got worse at 27 and then all the sudden my period stopped few months before my 28 th birthday and my doctors thought it was because of my infections in my mouth and all the antibiotics I was taking well a year after no period I got my teeth pulled out now I have had my teeth out for a year and 4 months now all the sudden about 2 Years of no period I started my period again I was cramping on my right side it was going down my right leg in to my hip now I feel like I have normal cramps but scared there could be something really bad wrong could this just be that my body healed and now my body says time to be back on my period again? Right now my period blood is light but that is normal for the first day anyways. Could I be bleeding internal and not know it or could it be cancer but I am not loosing wait no bloods cells were off on my blood work that would show a concern for infections or.cancer cells,,,, I can't go to the doctor till Monday so I need advice I am scared.....

I mean my period stopped for 2 years first year was while my teeth were in then I got my teeth out and my period did not return after they were removed, for another year,I was off my period for a total of 2 years. So my question is can teeth infections for a long period of time cause periods to stop and restart a year after infections are gone. Thank you for you answere specialmom.

Hi there and welcome to the forum.  Glad you can go to the doctor tomorrow for your peace of mind.  I'm sorry to hear about your mouth and such issues tha required the removal of all your teeth and such bad infections that your period ceased for a couple of years!  That must have been very painful and difficult.  That your mouth issues caused such havoc of your body, it would make sense that after two years, you'd have some issues with your period.  I really do think it is a good thing to get an exam with your doctor to just make sure everything is okay but you are most likely just adjusting to having a period again,  good luck and smile pretty with your new teach (assuming you got dentures!).
