Clysta is right about getting your levels checked from your doctor, this is the best way to see what is going on and if this stage of perimenopause has started. Keep us posted.
I'm not having any other symptoms, I do experience irregular periods sometimes, they can last from 3 days to 7 days, this is the first time it lasted 9 days. I apppreciate you taking the time to respond to my questions, thank you so much.
Not at all. Since you're bleeding though, I'd be more inclined to say you're heading toward (or in) perimenopause. Women can spend years in this stage, and it usually will happen anywhere from your mid to late 30's up till your early 40's and 50's. Blood work from your doctor can tell you what is going on. Are your periods regular/irregular, or do you even have them anymore? Do you have any other symptoms? Hot flashes, weight gain, breast pain, etc?
Thanks for responding Clysta, I'm in my 3rd year of the second Mirena. Is it too soon for menopause?
When did you get the Mirena in? If recently, it could just be your body adjusting to it. It's also possible to bleed randomly while you do have it in.
